Kim Estes, Actor
Emmy Award Winner

Kim Estes, an Emmy Award winner for “Outstanding Actor in a Short Form Comedy or Drama Series - 2017, for his role as Sergeant Amanda Smith in “Dicks.” His impressive list of TV appearances includes “Criminal Minds, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Fresh off the Boat, Pretty Little Liars, The Real O'Neals," and "NCIS". You can also see him in the season six Private Practice episode Apron Strings where he plays a mediator. This list continues with character parts in “400 Days, Crossroad, The Bachelor Next Door, 5 Hour Friends, Night Eyes, Removal and a host of other films. 

 

While born and raised in Los Angeles, Kim has spent time in Vallejo, where he attended college at CSU, Cal Maritime Academy before continuing his post-graduate work at the University of Southern California. We are thrilled to have Kim Estes as a member of our juror panel.

George Maguire, Acclaimed Actor

Pursuit of Happyness, Fight Club, True Lies

George Maguire is a renowned stage and film actor, director, and voice-over artist. His career began as a teenager in 1964 with Pittsburgh Civic Light Opera; it encompasses Broadway, Off-Broadway, regional theaters, Shakespeare Festivals, and numerous films and TV shows. He has been an Actors Equity Association and SAG/AFTRA member for over 50 years. His career spans both coasts and includes Broadway, Off-Broadway, National Companies, and many of the top regional theaters in the states, including Actors Theater of Louisville, Oregon Shakespeare Festival, Great Lakes, Marin, and Northshore Shakespeare Festivals, PCPA Theaterfest, ACT, Berkeley Rep, Magic Theater, Shotgun Players, Clarence Brown Theater and many more. His over 30 film and TV credits include “Fight Club, Pursuit of Happyness, Metro, The Sweetest Thing, Opal, The Dog Lover,” James Franco’s “Yosemite,” Clint Eastwood’s “True Lies, Youth,” films and pilots for NBC, ABC, CBS, and PBS and Lt. Governor Mel Wexler on “Nash Bridges.” In addition to “Nosferatu, The Stand at Paxton County, Disrupted, The Night,” Mr. Invincible,” additional projects include “13 Reasons Why” and “Generations,” along with many others.

His directing credits include CenterRep, PCPA, the Eugene O’Neill Foundation, SRT Santa Rosa, New Conservatory Theater, Indra Theater Company, Broadway By The Bay, and Playground, of which he is a proud member. He is Professor Emeritus at Solano College Theater, co-founded the Actor Training Program and teaches Advanced On-Camera Acting for Nancy Hayes Casting and Academy of Art University.

Debra Miller an American born actress from Arkansas. Her film credits include “San Andreas, Steve Jobs, Ant-Man 1 and 2, Venom, Sense 8 and Jordan Peele’s thriller US.” Along with film credits, she has added a number of TV shows to her list of credits, which include “Murder in the First on TNT, Wives with Knives on Investigation Discovery, HBO Ballers and ABC's miniseries When We Rise.” Additionally, “Netflix’s 13 Reasons Why and a speaking spot in A Taiwanese Tale of Two Cities.” She has appeared in numerous commercials with several Golden State Warrior Basketball players such as Stephen Curry “Stronger Feels Good” for Muscle Milk, Wins and Losses” for Kaiser Permanente, Draymond Green “Beats by Dre” Headphones for Apple and Andre Iguodala “NBA Hands” for NBA. Debra has booked roles for “Sutter Health, Princess Cruise, Samsung, Apple, Geico Insurance, Vistaprint, Microsoft Office 365, Wells Fargo
and Bank of the West.”


In 2018, Debra landed a featured spot in a national commercial with singer/musician John Legend and then Golden State Warrior’s Kevin Durant for Google Assistant called; "Make Google Do It!" In 2019, Debra booked a brief, but visible role, in a commercial for Post’s “Honey Bunches of Oats" and "David’s Bridal”. She has acted in shorts and featured films such as Jacalyn Evone’s “Stripes and Sisters.” She played mom to known Oakland rapper Fabby Davis Jr aka Mr. Fab on Season 1 of “The North Pole Show.” In 2018, Debra agreed to participate in research to obtain FDA approval of a groundbreaking ultrasound machine to detect early signs of "breast cancer"; Allowing an alternative to painful Mammograms. Her sharing of personal breast cancer scares and family history of the killer disease.


Debra has earned IMDB credits for various accomplishments. She’s detailed oriented and has a keen eye. She’s worked in production, craft services, editing and on a team of producers for distributed web-series. In 2019, she added voice-over; to her skills, and has been in charge as a Film Festival juror assistant, coordinator and floor manager. Off-camera, she’s a licensed pharmacy technician, Cosmetologist and a certificate for nurse’s assistant in 2009. With two associate degrees and one course shy of completing registered nursing prerequisites. Debra is determined to excel academically. A wife of thirty-plus years, mom of six amazing adults and grandmother to eight adorable youngsters; her faith, singing, cooking, dancing, yard work, writing scripts, poetry and perfecting her skills are of utmost importance.

Dave has lived in and around Detroit, Michigan his whole life, took four years of theatre in high school, and worked as a pianist/singer/entertainer for twenty years before going into film acting. He has appeared on camera in over one hundred projects in the last ten years, including feature films, shorts, commercials, and industrial films, playing roles that range from a police detective to mob boss to mayor to the Grim Reaper. He has also produced a handful of his own short films and music videos that have screened at festivals across the country.

Dave, always more than happy to share his life experience, enjoys most watching his students grow and learn. He has taught piano, theatre and film acting and was a mentor for the 2018 Capstone film class at Madonna University in Livonia, Michigan, where he instructed students on the auditioning, directing, and handling of talent on set.

Dave has written over one hundred songs, two musical plays for kids, and multiple books, including a book of monologues and scenes for young actors. His three books of monologues for adult actors will be available online by May 1, 2019.

Sandra Dee Richardson, Award-Winning Actor, Casting Director

Sandra Dee Richardson, known as Sandra Dee is an award-winning American actress, winning over 13 awards as actor, director, or producer, including a best-supporting actor award. Her career has exploded with opportunities over the last decade in film, commercials, television, and as a print model, the face of numerous products and services.

 

Adding more versatility to her career, Sandra Dee Richardson has cast numerous films including four award-winning films in the last year. Some of the dramatic, action-packed award-winning films and documentaries cast, directed, or produced include double platinum winner, “Restorers of Truth”, “Southern Secrets, Sins of the Past”, “Healing Yesteryear (2019)”, “Dr. Castillo (2016)”, “The Great Controversy Ended (2017)”, “Nine Lives (2017)”, “Never Alone (2014)”, and “We Promised (2015).

 

Richardson’s credentials include certification as a Business Consultant and Project Manager. She is also an acting consultant-coach and trainer. Her degree is in business management with an emphasis on communication and marketing with a minor in theater. To expand knowledge of acting and film techniques, Richardson attended six training schools, most notable were the Actor’s Studio, Robert Conrad Studios, and South Coast Repertory. She also received personal training from several outstanding trainers in New York and Los Angeles.

 

Early in Richardson’s work life, she became a manager in the federal government expanding on customer service, public relations, and marketing. She currently owns an entertainment, production and marketing company called RS Rich Enterprises Inc./RS Rich Productions. John Finley Kitchen

 

A freshman in high school and an aspiring actor who goes by his middle name Finley.  Born in Oklahoma City but being a Marine Corps brat called anywhere his dad was stationed home.  Finley has lived on both coasts thanks to his dad’s duty stations.  Finley has endured his dad's four overseas deployments along with his big brother Ashton who is Autistic. He loves all sports, but soccer is his most favorite.  The three loves of his life after acting are Chipotle, dogs, and video games. Finley on occasion will help his parents with transporting dogs out of Oklahoma to find forever homes in other parts of the country.  As a first-time student judge Finley hopes to do a good job and learn from his peers.

Zach St. John

Zach is happy to be returning as a student juror for The International KidsNFilm Festival.  Born and raised in the Napa Valley and eventually relocating to Benicia, Zach is 12 years old and has been active in the performing arts for five years.  His recent roles include playing the lead role in "Dragon Of The Winds" and as Chorus for "A Thousand Cranes." When he's not on stage, Zach also enjoys stage production and video and short film editing.  Zach is in his sixth year of Boy Scouts and his hobbies include coding, golf, swimming, and playing with his miniature pinscher, Rex.

An aspiring actress from the San Francisco bay area. Ashley loves theater, gymnastics drawing, painting, filming, photography, and playing her guitar.

Kilian Arnarson

Kilian Arnarson is an American actor and musician born in San Diego, California, of African-American and Icelandic parents. As a globe-trotting military kid, Kilian grew up in Japan and has always had a passion for travel, culture, and art. He became involved in community theatre and music while his family was stationed in North Carolina and began making short films. At the age of twelve, his family moved to Texas, where he studies acting and ballet, and contemporary dance. When he is not acting, he runs a successful sticker and t-shirt business with his brother and is active in the local art scene. He has participated as a fashion designer and model in two runway shows and hosted a kid’s art market to showcase local, young entrepreneurs. He also plays guitar and studies sound and audio production.
